Lindsay Jane Blog ~ Utah bio picture

Welcome!

I've had the privilege of being a photographer for the past 9 years...and have loved every minute of it!  I grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee and am southern through and through!  Even though I've spent a lot of my life in Utah and California, the South will always be my home.  My husband and I recently welcomed a beautiful baby boy into our family and are loving every minute of it!

It's been wonderful to be able shoot weddings from California to Tennessee and Hawaii to France over the past several years.  I've also really enjoyed being able to share what I've learned about wedding photography with a select few photographers that work for my company.  You can learn more about them under the 'Photographers' tab.  We look forward to being a part of your wedding day, or capturing those special moments for your family.

Leather and Lace

Her are some of the cutest little ladies ever. And well their Daddy just happens to really love football. In fact he is so good at it that he has been knows to play a game or two. Mom thought it might be fun to match up the frills that girls love with a little game day action. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did!

I am loving the simple details of this wedding. They fit the Bride to a T. In fact I might have to say that my favorite part of the whole day was the send off. Bubbles where everywhere, and well they got into the biggest ride in town. That’s right a huge orange vintage Semi Truck. If that isn’t cool I don’t know what is. Even more fun to watch was seeing tiny Dana getting into this huge truck. Good luck Dana and Justin!

Big Wyoming Sky

Hands down the best wedding of the year. Me and my husband drove to Wyoming for this awesome occasion. We got there and soon went on a very long trek out to a little house in the middle of nowhere. In the middle of nowhere I found a beautiful bride preparing to walk down the isle, we snapped a few shots of an incredible blue sky, and some kickin bridesmaids (love the boots!) Soon we where back down the dusty road to the actually place where Sam and Amanda would become one. I was in awe when I saw what they called the Chapel. It had this amazing affect that made it look like a cathedral in the mountains. AMAZING! Along with the incredible details this wedding wins my vote for the best wedding ever. I am so glad to be a part of this. Amanda and Sam I wish you both the best of luck, and all the single cowboys who two stepped it all night long with the many available young ladies. Maybe another wedding is in the forecast? Enjoy the over abundance of pictures I told you it was awesome.

Warcraft!!!

A long time ago two people fell in love. But they didn’t do things the way you and I normally do. No, they went about playing the game a little different. In a whole different world characters became friends and allies where formed. Battles where fought and love was soon in their midst. There is more to this story but in the end marriage was the key and a happy life is in the future.

Jen I know you have been dying to see these. Here is a sneek peak! I hope you like them.

Time and Time again…

I love to see families grow. About a year ago I took the Nelson’s family pictures, with their adorable twins and blue eyed red head. They certainly have grown and still like me! Hooray! Heidi I hope you love your pictures, bonks and all..

Old time charm!

What an amazing day! Megan and Andrew where on cloud nine from the moment they stepped foot into the crowd. Smiling and cheering and ready to celebrated. The day turned into a care free evening with perfection. The details where charming and well set next to red barn that played off the color scheme. There was no detail over looked and even the get away car was vintage. This wedding was a blast and as you can see I just couldn’t decide which photo’s where my favorite. Enjoy!

Foxy!

What a gorgeous couple don’t you think? This shoot was almost not a shoot at all. The weather was threatening rain, and it may have come down on occasion. However under the cloudy conditions we got some awesome pictures. Besides being in love these two have a serious height difference. Notice the very short Dana, and the very tall Justin. Either way both photographed very well. Here are a few of my favorites. I hope you like them.

Mr. & Mrs.

Kind words, happy feelings, and a lot of love was at this wedding. Cody and Krystle have been the perfect couple to work with. I enjoyed getting to know them and their family. The careful planning that went into their special day I am sure was meticulous. All things were perfect and the day was wonderful. I am grateful to have been a part of it.

Horse ewww!

To get these lovely little photo’s we had to do some high steppin. Things started easy, on nice concrete sidewalks. But of course we had to take the adventurous route through mucky fields. Between the rain and recently shoveled stink things where getting a little smelly. Sooo worth i! I was sure glad to not be wearing my nice shoes however. The remainder of this wedding will wrap up shortly so stay tuned.

I love to see the temple!

The whole day went off without a hitch. Details where perfect, food yummy, Bride and Groom lovely as ever. But the one thing that stood out to me was a little program that was given by very little people. They sang a simple primary song that I must say is one of my favorites. And when it comes from a little somebody it makes a really big impact. I also love to see the temple. Good job little ladies!
